What do you mean by BULK COPY in SQL Server and different modes to do that?
When we say about the BULK Copy in SQL Server this will allows a data transfer in and out of SQL tables or views. And this data can be large or small both. And in addition this will allows data transfer in between an SQL Server and an Operating System data files like as ASCII.
There are different BULK COPY modes:-
(1)First one is Native Mode data file, and this will do Bulk copy from a table or view into a table or view in the same format.
(2)And second mode here is chracter mode data file, and this will do a bulk copy from a table or view into another table in a different format.
(3)In third mode Bulk Copying from a data file into a table or view.
(4)In the fourth mode, here we will Load data into program variables initially and then bulk copying into a table or view.
