Is it possible to write the Output of MapReduce in different formats?
Well here our answer is Yes. Hadoop will supports various output and input file format and below are 5 format:-
(1)TextOutputFormat:-When we say about the TextOutputFormat , this is the default output format and this will write records as lines of text.
(2)SequenceFileOutPutFormat:-When we say about the SequenceFileOutPutFormat, this is used to write sequence files when the output files need to be fed into another Mapreduce job as a input files.
(3)MapFileOutPutFormat:-As the name suggest, this is used to write the output as the map files.
(4)SequenceFileAsBinaryOutPutFormat:-Well this is another variant of SequenceFileInputFormat and this will writes keys and values to a sequence file in binary format.
(5)DBOutputFormat:-Well when we say abot the DBOutputFormat, it is used for writing to relational databases and HBase. ANd this format also sends the reduce output to a SQL table. | |
