In which language CouchDB is written?
Well language of CouchDB is very interesting below are some useful points:-
(1)CouchDB is mainly written in Erlang. And it is a concurrent functional programming language which is mainly focuses on the fault tolerance. When we say about the Erlang programming language it is also used for building a massive scalable soft real time system with requirements on high availability.
(2)Some parts of CouchDB is written in C languages.
(3)As we are also aware that CouchDB supports view server and the views which are written in JavaScript per default (But that also include Erlang). So CouchDB requires the JavaScript engine SpiderMonkey (which is written in C language).
