What are the main usage of CouchDB?
Well CouchDB helps developers to write a client-side application which interacts directly to the Couch without the need of server-side middle layer. And this will also reduce the time of development and handling replication. And the main objectives of CouchDB is to run on the internet applications and the connected devices through which we access the internet.
(1)CouchDB has HTTP based REST API, so the communication with database is very easy.
(2)CouchDB has the simple structure of HTTP resources and methods which are very easy to understand and use(Get, Put and Delete).
(3)In CouchDB we store data in flexible document-based structure. So we need not to worry about the strcuture of the data.
(4)CouchDB helps users with powerful data mapping, which allows querying, combining, and filtering the information.
(5)CouchDB provides easy-to-use replication, By using which we can copy, share, and synchronize the data between databases and machines.
