| Name the different schedulers available in YARN?
Below are the 3 different schedulers available in YARN are:-
(1)FIFO scheduler:-This places applications in a queue and runs them in order of submission which is First In First Out. And it is not desirable, as a long running application might block the small running applications.
(2)Capacity scheduler:-Here we have separate dedicated queue which allows the small job to start as soon as it is submitted. The large job finishes later compared to using the FIFO scheduler
(3)Fair scheduler:-There is no need to reserve a set amount of capacity since it will dynamically balance resources between all the running jobs | | |
