What is the reason behind why we can see only one side of the Moon?
As all of us knows that the Moon orbits and it always presents the same side towards the Earth. And reason behind is that because Earth's gravity has slowed the moon rotation so that it matches the time it will takes to go around the Earth. This is the main reason that Moon takes the same amount of time to revolve around the Earth as it takes to rotate around its spin axis.
