What is difference between TeamSite and Communication Site?
First of all we will go to TeamSite. TeamSite is basically for internal team collaborations. And it is private site which is used to store project documents and some working on documents as a team. In Team site most of user will contribute content. Teamsite can we connected to Office 365 group and teams.
On the other hand communication site is relates to customer or for whole company. And this may contains information regarding new product, new services launched by the company, or have some latest news of our organization. Communication site usually a small number of users and a large number of readers and the security groups are the more traditional SharePoint groups. Communication sites donot come with an Office 365 group. | |
