Different testing methods that come under API testing?
Below are the different testing methods come under API testing
(1)Functional testing and Unit testing
(2)Discovery testing for Creating, deleting and listing number of calls that have been documented in API.
(3)WEB UI and end to end integration testing.
(4)Reliability and Usability testing for obtaining consistent results.
(5)Penetration and security testing to validate all types of authentication.
(6)Automation testing to create and execute script whihc require API calls execution regularly.
(7)API documentation testing for determining its efficiency and effectiveness.
(8)We will use Load testing for testing the perfromance under load.
