Chinook Helicopter with India details and its deal?
In July 2018 Indian Government take a significant step with Boing toward modernizing the IAF chopper fleet by completing the first flight of chinook helicopters.
India has seal a deal of 15 CH-47 chinook helicopters. In Year February 2019 India received its first batch of Chinook helicopters. And rest of pending Chinook Helicopters added to Indian Air Force in 2020.
India from last couples of years have emerged Chinook of major miltary tools for airlift operations in places like Ladakh and Siachen glaciers to assist Indian forces deployed in these regions.
In Current time Indian fleet of Chinook Choppers is based out of Chandigarh for operations in north while another unit is hsoted in Assm for northeastern areas.
Till now India has not received any issue and complaints in Chinook Helicopters. | |
