Can we store our own objects in master database if yes then what is the best option?
Our answer is that SQL Server will allow to add objects to master database. But this should happen very rarely. My advice to add storedprocedure like sp_whoisactiveto master database. And other objects should be placed in user database.
Mostly DBAs add different objects like those which support database maintenance to master database. And it would be better to creata a new user database to house those objects. And it is true if there is a log table among objects.
