Alias is a feature of SQL and most of RDBMS support this. Now comes to definition of Alias is a temporary name assigned to the table or any column of that table for purpose of some particular SQL query. In another world we can also say that it is and obfuscation technique to secure the real names of database fields. And it is also called a correlation name.
We will us "AS" keyword to represent alias explicitly and some case we can performed without using "AS" well. But try to use as keyword always as it is a good practice. Below is the syntax of alias
