What do you think data disks support within scale sets in azure and name the other option for this?
My answer is Yes, a scale set can be define as attached data disk configuration which apply to all VMs in the set. And below is the list of other option for storing data:-
(1)OS Drive
(2)External Data Service (Example Remote Database)
(3)Azure Files (SMB Shared Drives)
(4)Temp Drive (Local, Not backed by Azure Storage)
(5)Azure Data Service (Example Azure Tables, Azure Blobs)
